Respecting Boundaries & Consent

How Your Agent Respects Boundaries

Unsubscribe Requests

Every outreach email includes a one-click unsubscribe link (RFC 8058 compliant). When someone unsubscribes:

  1. They're immediately added to your global unsubscribe list
  2. They will never be contacted by any of your campaigns again
  3. The unsubscribe is recorded permanently (legal requirement)
  4. Your agent acknowledges the opt-out if they reply asking to stop

Negative Responses

Your agent uses AI sentiment analysis to detect negative responses. When someone says "not interested," "stop emailing me," or similar:

  1. They're marked as unresponsive and removed from the campaign
  2. No follow-ups are sent
  3. They won't be contacted by future campaigns targeting the same email
  4. The response is logged in your activity feed

"Do Not Contact" Signals

Your agent recognizes various forms of rejection:

  • Direct refusals ("No thanks," "Not interested")
  • Requests to stop ("Remove me," "Unsubscribe")
  • Hostile responses (automatically de-escalates and ceases contact)
  • Auto-replies indicating the person has left the company
  • Bounce-backs indicating the email is invalid

When Your Agent Stops Automatically

Your agent will never contact someone who:

  • Has unsubscribed from any of your campaigns
  • Has explicitly asked to stop receiving emails
  • Has responded negatively to a previous outreach
  • Has an invalid or bounced email address
  • Is on a regulatory do-not-contact list

Your Unsubscribe List

View and manage your global unsubscribe list from Settings > Email > Unsubscribe List. This list applies across all campaigns — once someone opts out, they're opted out everywhere.

Important: Unsubscribe records are retained indefinitely, even if you delete your account. This is a legal requirement under CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
