Pausing & Resuming Campaigns
Key Takeaway
Pausing a campaign stops new outreach while preserving all lead data and statistics; resuming picks up where it left off without re-contacting leads already in the pipeline. Completed campaigns are final and cannot be resumed.
Pausing a Campaign
You can pause any active campaign from its detail page. Open the campaign from the goal it belongs to on the Goals page. When paused:
- No new outreach emails are sent
- Your agent still monitors for replies to previously sent emails
- Lead data and campaign statistics are preserved
- The campaign timer continues (counts toward total duration)
Resuming a Campaign
Click Resume on a paused campaign to restart outreach. Your agent picks up where it left off — it won't re-contact leads already in the pipeline.
Stopping a Campaign
To permanently end a campaign, change its status to Completed. This:
- Stops all outreach immediately
- Finalizes campaign statistics
- Generates a completion report
- Keeps all data for your records
Note: Completed campaigns cannot be resumed. To restart similar outreach, use the Draft outreach campaign quick action on the goal's detail page, or ask your agent in chat.
