Default Working Hours
By default, your agent sends outreach emails during standard business hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (America/Chicago timezone)
Emails are never sent on weekends or outside these hours, ensuring your outreach arrives when decision-makers are at their desks.
Configuring Your Timezone
Go to Settings to set your timezone. This ensures your agent schedules emails based on your local business hours rather than the default.
Your timezone affects:
- When outreach emails are sent
- When awareness sweeps run (lead generation)
- When daily reports are delivered
Always-On vs. Business Hours
Your agent's background processes (inbox monitoring, IPC, heartbeat) run 24/7 regardless of working hours. This means:
- Lead replies are detected at any time
- Hot lead alerts are sent immediately, even at night
- Your agent responds to your chat/email/SMS messages around the clock
Only outbound email sending and lead generation are restricted to working hours.
Why Working Hours Matter
Sending cold outreach at 2 AM damages credibility and response rates. Industry data shows:
- Tuesday through Thursday get the highest open rates
- 9-11 AM local time is optimal for B2B
