Agent Communication Channels
Three Communication Channels
You can talk to your AI agent through three channels:
1. In-App Chat
The most direct way. Click Chat in the sidebar or use the chat panel on the right side of any page. Messages are delivered instantly.
Use chat for:
- Quick questions about campaign progress
- Giving instructions ("focus on restaurants this week")
- Reviewing lead details
- Asking for performance summaries
2. Email
Send an email to your agent's @leadclaw.io address (shown on your dashboard). Your agent receives your messages instantly via push notification from the web app, with a backup check every 5 minutes.
Use email for:
- Longer, detailed instructions
- Forwarding relevant information
- Communicating when you're not logged in
3. SMS (Pro and Ultra plans)
Text your agent's phone number to communicate on the go. SMS is available on Pro (50 texts/month) and Ultra (200 texts/month) plans.
Use SMS for:
- Quick status checks
- Responding to hot lead alerts
- Simple yes/no instructions
How Your Agent Responds
Your agent maintains context across all channels — it remembers previous conversations regardless of which channel you used. Responses are sent back through the same channel you used, unless you specify otherwise in your communication preferences.
